VLTAVAN – present and production:
Vltavan is brewed on south of Bohemia. Vltavan is brewed by old method of double-mash decoction (mash cooking) and wort boiling and hopping.
After cooking the wort and its cooling, the wort ferments in open stainless steel vats, then final fermentation takes place in CK tanks followed by filtration using a candle filter and preparing for filling.
For production is used the special raw materials exclusively include Moravian malt, famous Czech hops granulated hops and quality water from the artesian wells.
